During the restoration works that commenced mid-March 2023 at Servia Bridge, immediately after banning traffic due to risks of a possible collapse expressed by experts, NEOTEK supplied a wireless system for monitoring the behavior of existing cracks. The system comprises flexible waterproof displacement sensors and measurements are transmitted wirelessly via nodes to a centra gateway recording station located on the deck. Measurements are available to the engineers in charge 24/7 via GSM telemetry for constant evaluation during and after strengthening works.
